Oxygen therapies
EBOO and ozone therapy
EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) is a medical procedure in which blood is drawn through a vein, passes through an extracorporeal system where it is filtered, oxygenated and exposed to a controlled oxygen-ozone mix, and is then returned to the patient.
What is EBOO therapy?
The aim is to help modulate oxidative stress and support circulatory, metabolic and inflammatory processes, always according to the physician's judgment for each patient. No specific result is guaranteed.
We also offer IV and rectal ozone therapy, less intensive ways to give the oxygen-ozone mix, which the physician may include in your plan.

What a session is like
- A medical consultation first and a signed informed consent.
- Venous access and a procedure supervised by the physician and nursing staff.
- An EBOO session takes about 90 minutes; IV or rectal ozone takes 30 to 60 minutes.
- Vital signs are monitored during and after the procedure.
How to prepare
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Bring an ID and a list of the medications and supplements you take.
Eat a full breakfast and drink 1 L of water in the prior hours for good veins. Wear comfortable clothes with loose sleeves. Required lab tests: recent complete blood count and G6PD test. Tell us if you take blood thinners, have a bleeding disorder or hyperthyroidism, or are pregnant.
Precautions
- Not recommended in pregnancy, severe clotting disorders, severe anemia or cardiovascular instability.
- Like any invasive procedure, it can cause bruising or bleeding at the puncture site, a temporary drop in blood pressure or a vasovagal reaction.
- The physician will explain the risks, benefits and alternatives before you start.
